Kingdom Forest Dam

The Les Králové dam is located on the Elbe River 4 km upstream from Dvor Králové nad Labem, near the Těšnov solitude. It was built in 1920 and many experts consider it to be the most beautiful dam in our country, because it perfectly combines the technical solution with the aesthetic side of the construction. It is set in the picturesque forest complex Les Královstvi, after which it got its name.

Visitors can also enrich their picturesque walk along the dam with a tour of the permanent exhibition, which is located in the building of the dam's supervision and the house of the former dyke - this tour is subject to reservation!
